Stormy Nigth

Thats my entry for the CG Boost Life on a Boat Challenge.

After reading about the Topic I instantly had a stormy night on open sea in mind. I then went on to try give the scene some more life and interesting pieces. After fiddling around a bit, I ended up with this tiny mouse adventurer looking into the cold and stormy night from his cozy Hammock. Around a third of my worktime went into lighting and trying to get the lightning look right, but in the end, I had to enhance its and the clouds glow and brightness a bit in Photoshop. Besides that, I was able to create almost everything inside Blender. I really learned a lot by participating in this challenge, and I tried a lot of new things I otherwise probably wouldn’t have.
